David Lednicky
(vocals/bass guitar)

David started Wayward Sons sometime around 1992 or 1993. Originally an acoustic guitarist, David switched over to the bass guitar to open new doors in his songwriting. A proficient songwriter, the "Sons" perform several of his tunes at each of the shows, including the crowd favorite "Sunday Beer on a Saturday Night."

David's influences range far and deep, and he cites the Beatles, Jim Lauderdale, and Barry Manilow as some of them. He also draws from artists like Deryl Dodd and Drew Womack, who are both long-time friends that are currently state-wide touring acts.

David is married and has 3 children. He is a volunteer firefighter and a first responder and likes taking it easy.
